The Solar System

The Solar System was formed about 4.6 billion years ago and consists of the Sun, planets, and other astronomical objects bound in its orbit.
99.86% of the system’s mass is found in the Sun and the majority of the remaining 0.14% is contained within the solar system’s eight planets.

Presently the students are learning about the Gold Rush Era in Australia and through posters have displayed their research about Gold and its history. The students will be stepping back in time at camp to experience the life in the 1850’s.

How are you doing, Mrs Cordeiro!

I honestly can’t wait for camp! Even though I will be far from my family, it will be fun! I’m not just sure about tying my hair in two plaits! 🙁 It’s just not my style!

i am sure you will agree now that the experience at camp was wonderful and you received help when you had to plait your hair for school whilst on camp.

This is a great video that you put up. It can help us to learn about space in a simpler way. This can help me in my space project. Great job Mrs Cordeiro.

I liked this video and it was interesting to know that planets were named after a Roman god.

In my opinion space research has advanced man into modern day technology.(like telivision with colour, cordless telephones and much much more.) Wile designing spacecrafts, the materials used for it have indirectly helped to better our cameras and without the essential space research we could still be in the stone-age. This is why space research is worth it.

i agree that we should spend money on space research so we can find another planet to live on and so earth does not get over-crowded with people in the next 50 years
